We want everyone in the sale, the clinic and the office to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

Our standard

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

This statement covers thoroughvet.com. The ThoroughVet apps and the web portal are covered separately as we review them.

Checked at desktop and phone widths
Every page is checked with automated accessibility testing at desktop and phone widths before it is published, including menus, tabs and the contact form.
Everything works from the keyboard
Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline. Menus close with Escape, and the phone menu keeps focus inside it until it closes.
Text you can read
Text meets a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, and the site still works when the browser text size is doubled.
Nothing moves that you cannot stop
Anything that moves on its own has a pause button and stops when you hover over it or move focus into it. If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing moves on its own at all.

The product screens on this site are illustrations of the software made with demo data. Screen readers skip them, and the text beside each one describes what it shows.
Some documents we link to, such as the terms and conditions a sales company publishes, are PDFs from that company and may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will help you get the information another way.
